Valérie Héroux was named Vice-President, Content Acquisition in 2019. She is responsible for advancing Stingray’s content strategy.
Ms. Héroux brings over 10 years of experience in media and broadcasting to her role. Her legal and CRTC regulatory expertise contributes to forging strong and lasting partnerships and further enable cooperation with key media players.
Prior to joining Stingray, Ms. Héroux was Senior Director of Content and Strategic Partnerships at Vidéotron. In this role, she led numerous strategic negotiations as well as CRTC commercial arbitrage. She also oversaw the development and execution of business plans to distribute over 200 channels, including their On-Demand content for all media platforms. In addition, her credentials include experience as Senior Legal Counsel for Québecor Média, where she was the chief negotiator for the renewal of the UDA and Groupe TVA’s collective agreement, enabling new multiplatform rights for internal productions and the hiring of artists.
