Stingray Launches Radio DashSync: In-car Adtech that Matches Display to Audio Ads

Montreal, October 15, 2025 – Stingray (TSX: RAY.A; RAY.B), an industry leader in music and video content distribution, business services, and advertising solutions, today announced the launch of an innovative new audio extension product for advertisers. Radio DashSync by Stingray™ is now live in Toronto on Boom 97.3 and New Country 93.5; it will be rolling out across all 97 Stingray Radio stations over the next four weeks. With this launch, Stingray becomes the first major Canadian broadcaster to offer this in-car advertising solution, which syncs text and brand logos on in-car dashboard displays.
Radio DashSync by Stingray™ enhances the power of radio by coupling visual messaging with audio advertisement content on listeners’ console screens. When a commercial plays on a Stingray Radio station, advertisers now have the option to incorporate a custom message that will automatically appear on the dashboard display. This technology provides a richer, more engaging experience for listeners and an unparalleled opportunity for advertisers to connect with consumers in an immersive in-car experience.
“We are thrilled to be at the forefront of audio innovation in Canada with the launch of Radio DashSync by Stingray™,” said Dean Rutherford, Vice President of Sales, Stingray Radio. “Our valued advertising partners can now reinforce key messaging on the car dashboard at the exact time their ad is airing, ensuring they are not only heard but seen, dramatically increasing impact and ensuring their brand is top-of-mind. It’s a game-changer for radio advertisers and we are proud to be the first major Canadian broadcaster to bring it to market.“
A recent Quu study on visual radio ads found that the technology boosts key brand metrics across the marketing funnel, increasing purchase intent by 89%, brand favourability by 58%, and slogan familiarity by 57%.
With the launch of Radio DashSync by Stingray™, Stingray is enhancing the in-car listening experience while offering advertisers a unique opportunity to increase brand visibility and message recall. This technology reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering innovative advertising solutions across its network of Canadian radio stations.
