Hosts Mauler, Rush, Jenni, and Brady present a combination of original content and content from the popular Morning Hot Tub show that originates at Hot 89.9 in Ottawa and is heard on five radio stations across Canada. Much like their radio show, the podcast is full of laughs and general absurdities. The Hot Tub Podcast is ranked alongside world-famous podcasts like The Joe Rogan Experience, advice and comedy podcast Call Her Daddy, and science podcast Huberman Lab.
“All I wanted to accomplish with this was to beat Smartless,” said Mauler. “Now that we’ve accomplished that, I’m not even sure we need to release another episode ever.” For the record, the Smartless podcast with Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett ranked #14 this week in Canada.
Rush admitted, “I’m not even sure what a podcast is, but I was told that if we continue to be a part of it, somebody will bring us egg rolls.”
“It has been a lifelong dream of mine to be 4th best in Canada at something,” commented Jenni. “This really is a dream come true.”
“When is the last time you just took a breath, spun around in a circle four times and screamed as loud as you possibly could at an unsuspecting donkey?” said Brady. “That’s what the podcast is like.”
